It's that time of the year - it's Christmas time! Kids out there enjoying their presents, youngsters out there have great time with their friends, families gather and spend the season together. And me, being left out and soberly alone. Mind the word sober. My friends and I had extradited a couple of beer bottles into the campus. I was reminded that that any form of liquor is illegal in the campus premises. I was too ignorant to take note of that fact. Talk about teenage angst. As I have mentioned earlier, I had a blue Christmas and still sober (I had wished to get myself drunk at the moment). Then as any other (usual, boring) occasion, the holiday is an excuse for us to playing dotA till late (or rather the next morning). I can't imagine how more pathetic my life is, here inside this campus. My friend just told me this,
"I'm a 19 year old dude. I spent the Christmas eve with a couple of beers and playing dotA. And that's about it."
Life can never be more boring and pathetic than these accounts of my sad Christmas. But hopefully this boredom taboo is short-lived. New Year is coming up and I will not spend another sucked up holiday in Kelantan. After making terms with my friends, I had made a rendezvous with an old friend of mine in Penang. Let us start this new year with splendour and joy. Penang! Here I come!
Ps: First Christmas away from home.
